Rates and Fees

Money is generally one of the number one questions I get, so here is the scoop: I charge $125 per 50 minute session: cash, check, or credit cards accepted. Payment is requested at each session, unless otherwise agreed upon.
Phone consultations are available, and will be billed at a pro-rated percentage. Please be aware that phone sessions can not be billed to insurance.
I do charge for missed sessions (please refer to my policies form below), which also can not be billed to insurance companies. If you are able to reschedule to another hour within the same week, I waive that fee.

Insurance

I currently take Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and am an out-of-network provider for other insurance companies. I am also a "certified" provider for TriCare (still out of network). Please check your out-of-network coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health out-of-network insurance benefits?
  • What is my out-of-network deductible and has it been met?
  • How many out-of-network sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?
